Now that I am home all the time, it is challenging to keep myself busy. I really just wanna take a nap on the couch after everyone is gone, eat something & take another nap. And do some crafting if I'm not too sleepy. But I really do feel guilty about taking so many naps while everyone else is working or at school.
My feet are still healing, so taking a walk or even going shopping can be tireing at times.
I am going to try to get a routine set where I am cleaning a room, doing laundy, something different each day.
I'm gonna start by cleaning the bathroom on Monday & Friday - that way we will start the week & the weekend with a clean bathroom :)

The weekend
1st up, HAPPY BIRTHDAY KELSEY! Wow, my sweet little girl turned 18 on Friday! I am still in shock! She is a very sweet & compassionate young woman & I can't wait to see all that God has in store for her!
What a weekend we had, I am glad it is over, now we just have to recover!
Friday night we participated in "Relay for Life" with our church. We spent the night with about 1000 other people at a high school football field for the American Cancer Society. Yes, the whole night, 6pm to 6am. It was a lot of fun & very touching during the luminaries ceremony. There was lots for you to do, lots of fun, raffles & stuff to buy. ( I might have to make some cards or crafts for next time). But being in a field of grass for 12 hours straight wasn't good for my allergies! I did sleep for about 1 1/2 hours. And when I woke up, Lionel had packed everything up & taken it to the car (what a sweetheart!).
So we got home about 6:30am & Kelsey had a soccer game at 10am. So we got a little bit of sleep & then her & I went to the park for her game. So then I spent an other 2 hours in a field of grass!
Needless to say my nose is still stuffy & red!
But the best part of the weekend was meeting LUCY JANE STROHSCHEIN! Our pastor & his wife welcomed their 1st child into the world on Thursday, October 16th. We stopped by their house on Sunday night. She is so sweet! Marty & Amanda are so elated, their joy is so cute!
Well, I guess this is enough for now, I have let the girls sleep a little longer this morning, but I am gonna attempt to get them up again.
Toodles,
Rue
